While out scouting for the perfect family photo spot, we'd seen a place where sunlight flooded through a little pass in the trees, highlighting the last brilliant green colors of the year. So of course, we asked the Buie family to trek up the rise, right through a particularly ornery patch of thorns and brambles - all for the sake of photos.
It was worth it. :)
Despite the fact that 2 big sisters and big brother all survived a photo all alone on the big bench... baby brother just wasn't willing to take the chance, and promptly rolled off the bench into Shana's arms. :)
This next one is a favorite. These gals sure do love their brothers, and vice versa!
