This summer the Raiford family appeared on our blog as a family of 4 with a noticeable addition on the way.  😉  Now ... they're a family of 5!  Introducing the sweet littlest brother, Evan!

In case it's not obvious... baby Evan is greatly loved.

It won't be long before baby brother is movin' and groovin' right alongside Eli & Annie!

Last fall, Erin mentioned in passing, that if they had a Raiford baby #3, she'd like to have some maternity photos.  Of course, I told her we'd be game for that!  :)  So when I opened my inbox to find an email from Erin, saying she was pregnant, we were thrilled!  

Andrew smiled and pointed to Erin's stomach, saying, "Who's in Mommy's tummy?" Eli jumped and Annie clapped, responding in unison, "Baby Fettuccine!"  We didn't know then... but we know now that "Baby Fettuccine" is actually a sweet little... BOY!  (A boy who has long since made his appearance, so we're running way behind on sharing this maternity session!  :) )

Raiford fam, we love you! And we look forward to meeting the newest little Raiford!  :)

"That's my baby brother!"  Miss Harper was quick to let us know right away that the sweet little fella snuggled up in her mom's arms was not just some random baby, but he was HER baby.

Longview, Texas | Barker Family | 11.7.16

When we met up with the Barker family recently, I teased Amanda that someone had to have swapped her teeny baby girl out for a big girl.  Surely this giggly, energetic gal was not the same little baby we'd photographed a few years ago! 

Though I must say, we were equally as surprised when big brother JR arrived... driving up into the driveway.  "Time flies" has never been more true!  :)

You've just gotta love that little ponytail and big bow!  :)

You'll notice, Addison's smile is just a tad bigger than before.  That's in part due to the fact that she adores her big brother.  The rest of her smile is probably because of the sucker her in mouth.  ;)

Gilmer, Texas | Gender Reveal | 7.7.16

"We're gonna bring our families together and fill these huge balloons with colored powdered and then Boog is gonna shoot them and that's how we wanna find out if it's a boy or a girl!"

This was the plan that Maricela revealed to us ... probably 6 months before she and Boog even tied the knot last October!  So when we got a message from Maricela that it was time to begin preparing for that gender reveal date, we were thrilled for the Langston family - and we already knew the plan!  :)

Everyone had a very confident guess, along with a dozen reasons why it must be a boy, or it must be a girl.  :)  So before the big reveal, selections were made and balloons were blown up according to the guesses.  There were a lot of blues, and a lot of pinks.  (Though big brother, Zayne, was all about the blue!)

After shooing the cows away, everyone lined up in the shade around the edge of the pond where the balloons were floating.  (Boog had his great-grandfather's shotgun for the occasion.)

And.... what will it be?

A boy?

Or a girl?

Hooray!  It's a boy!

Boog's grin was a mile wide.  Talk about a proud daddy!  :)
