Pat & Danielle | Longview, TX | 8.29.14

Danielle was determined - she would not go to college in Texas.
But then she moved into her dorm room ... at a school in Texas.  :)

As usual, God had a plan, because it was at LeTourneau University where Danielle met Patrick.  The two spent a lot of time in the same places, but it wasn't until a spring break mission trip that they truly began to form a friendship.  And over time, that friendship deepened into something more!

We're excited to share some of our favorites from Pat & Danielle's engagement session, and are looking forward to their wedding this weekend!

Pat did good with his proposal.  :)  If you haven't heard the sweet story - you can read Danielle's thoughts on it over at their wedding website.

"We love because
He first loved us."

Stay tuned... Pat & Danielle's wedding preview post will be available 9.10.14!  :)

Bride's Chapel, Longview, Texas | Brandon & Selena | 8.13.14

All weddings are a celebration, but Brandon & Selena's wedding... was a celebration!  From start to finish, the day was filled with laughter and love.  And the more friends and family who streamed through the doors of the Bride's Chapel, the more that feeling was amplified.

The ceremony was met with great anticipation.  In the foyer, the wedding party excitedly lined up for their grand entrance.  Inside the chapel (with standing room only!), guests sat at the edges of their seats, all eyes glued to the back doors.  And it was such a sweet entourage of flower girls and junior groomsmen that led the way down the aisle - each one knowing exactly what their job entailed.  :)

"Most of all, let love guide your life."
                                                             - Colossians 3:14

These flower girls were total pros.  :)

Having been out to Arabella Manor several times for bridal shows, we were thrilled to see the space all decked out for a wedding reception.  The transformation for the celebration of the new Mr. & Mrs. Boyce was absolutely beautiful!

When Chris called people to the dance floor after supper…  there was no resistance.  :)

Brandon & Selena wanted to give their guests something special to take home with them.  So Selena's mom and grandmother worked to make 250 (absolutely delicious) mini bundt cakes!  And let's face it - there aren't many things more special than homemade dessert from a loving granny!   :)

"For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also."
                       - Matthew 6:21

Brandon & Selena, thank you so much for including us in your wedding day!  We loved the opportunity to be part of this season of celebration with you and your families!

Longview High School Senior | Jordan | 8.1.14

Kay Lynn & I both played volleyball back in the day.  And not to brag, but we were pretty good at it.  Bump, set, SPIKE!  (Okay, okay, it was only the occasional spike, we were better in the back row.)  However, I have a distinct feeling this gal could go against both of us at once and the Tanner sisters would run cryin' to the sidelines.  :)

Meet Jordan - a new graduate of Longview High School!  Go Lobos!  Earlier this year, she signed on with Oklahoma Wesleyan University to put those volleyball skills to good use!  Jordan has some big plans, and a lot of hard work ahead of her, but we have no doubt she will accomplish her goals with excellence!

Jordan, it was a joy to capture a bit of who you are in this senior year of high school.  (And we always love talking shop with a fellow camera enthusiast!)  :)  We wish you all the best as you move into this new season in life!
