These East Texas woods were really showing off in the sunlight on the fall afternoon of Daniel & Sherene's engagement session.  Now it's spring, and this is the week of their wedding!

Kilgore, Texas | SENIOR: Adam | 12.10.18

Who could forget that summer in Alabama when we met our 1st baby cousin - a sweet-grinned, bobble-headed boy named Adam. The way we acted, any onlookers might have thought he was coming home to live with us at the end of our visit, rather than going back to Colorado with his parents. (We would have been happy with a baby "brother!" 😉) 

3 more cousins have joined our ranks since that summer, and somewhere along the way we must have blinked a few times. Cause all of a sudden, Adam is a senior in high school! Not only that - he's a senior whose e-i-g-h-t-e-e-n-t-h birthday is... TODAY!

Happy 18th Birthday, Adam Wesley! We are rooting for you as you finish out your senior year and make your college choice. We pray the Lord's wisdom guides you, both now and always.

Synergy Park (Kilgore, TX) | Raiford Family | 1.30.18

This summer the Raiford family appeared on our blog as a family of 4 with a noticeable addition on the way.  😉  Now ... they're a family of 5!  Introducing the sweet littlest brother, Evan!

In case it's not obvious... baby Evan is greatly loved.

It won't be long before baby brother is movin' and groovin' right alongside Eli & Annie!

Synergy Park (Kilgore, TX) | Madi | 12.6.17

We first knew Madi as the sister-of-the-bride.  (We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to interact with whole Horne family as Lexi & Grant tied the knot last year.)  But this time around, Madi is the star of the show!  She's a senior at Hallsville High School.  Way to go, Class of 2018!  

This is a definite favorite!  Love the colors!

Congratulations on being accepted to Louisiana Tech University, Madi!  Go Bulldogs!  :)  And enjoy the rest of your senior year!

Kilgore, Texas | Buechter Wedding | 3.18.17

Jesse & Katelyn worked in the same office, so at first, they were uncertain about the idea of beginning a relationship... though there was definitely an interest.  As that friendship grew, they realized it was worth the risk, and took the plunge!  

Fast forward a few years, and they're gathered with all their loved ones at a family home tucked away in the piney woods of Kilgore, Texas.  Aunts, uncles, and cousins ran in all directions, playing and laughing and putting the finishing touches on wedding preparations.  It was loud, but the good kind of loud that lets you know you are gearing up for a celebration. 

Bella, you were a GRRREAT flower girl!  And you looked beautiful!  :)

Introducing... the new Mr. & Mrs.!

The reception was a massive feast!  Chicken that was literally finger-lickin'-good, huge piles of steaming crawfish, plus the best brisket we have ever tasted!
