The morning of the wedding was cool and beautiful, as the fog rolled over the mountains...
If only you could hear the squeals that were happening behind us! Sarah's bridesmaids were thrilled to finally see her in her wedding gown.
"My heart is beating so hard right now!" - Evan
The garden of the Lt. Governor's mansion was the perfect place for photographs!
Meet Cooper, the suave and highly skilled ring bearer. :) Truth be told, ring-bearing runs in the family, as Evan was the ring bearer in Cooper's parents' wedding… and Cooper's dad, Jon, was the ring bearer in Mr. Don & Mrs. Jamie's wedding. Such a sweet tradition to carry on!
(Recognize the pastor? Our Dad officiated the ceremony! :) )
"Oh magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt His name together!"
- Psalm 34:3
Evan & Sarah's wedding party represented multiple states and several different phases of life, but as you can tell, it wasn't hard for them to unite in the celebration!
"Heaven must be a Kentucky kind of place…"
- Daniel Boone
The bright summer evening at the Kentucky History Center was a perfect place for their reception.
Wedding guests of all ages thoroughly enjoyed the party.
Some got a bit more rambunctious than others… :)
What's a Kentucky wedding without some Ale8? Evan & Sarah had a cart loaded with their favorite Kentucky soft drink to send home with guests. (Though a lot of it was consumed immediately.) :)
Jill & Kay
